All about Just Cooking.

Just Cooking was founded by Mark & Bernie Doe who are professionals in the Food and hospitality Industry, each with over 20 years’ experience. Their passion for Fine Food and the joy of sharing that knowledge is the driving force behind Just Cooking. What began as a few Cookery Classes quickly turned into a Cookery School with a full schedule of courses. Their vast industry experience resulted in regular requests for assistance by Restaurants and Hotels, which led to setting up of the Food Consultancy service dealing with all aspects of the trade. Mark and Bernie have an aptitude for imparting their knowledge not only through the Cookery Classes but through Consultations with Food establishments and offering advice on the many different aspects of a good Food Business.

Mark Doe

Before establishing Just Cooking Mark spent over twenty years working in some of Europe's finest Hotels and Restaurants. These include The Ritz Hotel, London, The Four Seasons Hotel, London, The Merrion Hotel, Dublin, and The Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise liner. Mark also spent two years working in Australia and worked in one of the top Restaurants in Melbourne, Lynch's Restaurant. Mark has won many awards for his Cooking, including the overall winner of the Moreau Chablis Fish Dish of the Year Award and 2 AA Rosettes for his creative cuisine.

Bernie Doe

Bernie has over twenty years experience in Catering Management, Event planning and Training. This includes working in The City University Business School, London, The Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise liner, Ajays restaurant in Melbourne, Banqueting/Deputy Catering Manager at The world famous Guinness Storehouse, Dublin and now works alongside Mark at Just Cooking.

Can't say enough good things about the courses at Just Cooking. The recipes are so good and perfect for recreating at home. Mark give so many helpful tips and always replies promptly if you ever have additional questions about any type of cooking, not at all confined to the subject matter of the courses. An excellent day spent at Just Cooking Weber Grill course, flatbreads delicous Risotto and not forgetting the oozing Chocolate Fondant all on a barbecue, who knew! A nice sized group of 8 which allowed everyone to get some real hands on experience, expertly led as always by Mark.....BBQ will never be the same again in our house...left with a full belly and some newly acquired culinary skills all involving a BBQ.....Thanks for a great day! Mark Doe's professional and entertaining cooking demonstration was enjoyed by all of the 500 guests who attended the Lee Strand & National Dairy Council Health & Wellbeing Evening at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel in Tralee. Mark demonstrated his creative culinary skills with wonderful dishes using Lee Strand products including; a quick cheesy fish gratin; brown soda bread; bread and butter pudding and a delicious orange and berry smoothie. Guests were treated to delicious tastings from Mark's cookery demonstration during the interval. Well done it was a great success."
